I know that many people say that the sense cure the fear of the blocks is to learn about them, but they have a serious phobia. Relativo really for me to even consider a really hard because of them that I fear them. What can I do to cure this phobia? I think personally that if I saw a real live block, I could go out of fear. Thanks for any help.

I have many bats that fly around my yard at night. They are amazing creatures to watch. I think that your fear has some substantiation in that some bats carry rabies. Other than that there is nothing to fear. They eat tons of mosquitoes. Any creature that does that is really your friend.

They are actually kind of cute. Visit a zoo that has them, usually they are behind thick glass and wont even pay you any attention, and you can really observe and learn about them without any fear of them getting at ya. The only way to really overcome it is to expose yourself to it more and more, and through familiarity your fear will dull.

this was an interesting question cause I too have a GREAT phobia of them. We use to fish off a pontoon boat on a lake at night and bats would be flying because of our lights…I can just see them and head for inside…Its the thought of one swooping down to my head or in my hair or something…omg this gives me the shudders just thinking this…good luck to you getting over the phobia though ….for me, I’ll just avoid them as best I can

phobia is regular and natural fear that has gone out of control. You need to get the control back but you don’t have to do that all by your self.
Phobia is not fun. I had a slight phobia of dogs. But then I luckily met some nice dog owners who didn’t joke about my fear and let me slowly and nicely get to know some dogs and told me about them so on.
I’d say that the only way to get rid of the fear is to face it. But take your time. If I know anything about this it’s not actually bats that you fear but more like the ‘idea of the bat’ bats are actually nice harmless and beautiful creatures, just like dogs, when you get to know them.
So first you have to start changing the idea that you have about bats. take your time. You have all the time that you need. Read about them. Learn about them and their habits and so on..
And if that feels too frightening then ask for help. Ok.. you are asking but I mean professional help. It may be worth it.
Here’s something to read:
Hope this helps.
