Widely distributed during the hot tropical regions and the world, the pelicans are birds of ancient lineage. Big heavy birds, are not very experienced in obtaining dispersed in but once it is made, are powerful wings of spinning wheel. The onocrotalus Pelecanus of the white pelican is found Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia and is typical of most of the species. Thousands of Pelecanus occidentalis of the Brown pelicans nestling in colonies on the coast of Peru where their guano, or droppings dell'uccello animals, is harvested and used as fertilizer. The pelicans are proud fishermen. Their tactics vary according to species and where they are fishing. The Brown pelicans falling from the sky over the fish, interfering them in their huge pouched bills, which were used as fishing nets. The other species if fishing in open water, sometimes together with a certain distance from shore and from himself in a half-circle. Then, swimming with military precision, beat the water with their wings to guide the fish that shorewards until then simultaneously plunge their water bills to dig up the fish, repeat several times the movement in perfect synchronization . Most species of pelican annidano on earth, or on marshy region - wherever fishing is plentiful. Their nests are about ****** and recently covati are very very small, only about 3 inches (75 millimeters) long and quite powerless. Both parents are members on the work of feeding the young until the ****** are not strong enough to learn to push their heads in bags of food for adults. The guano important part of the Brown pelican provides a sound economic reason for its continued protection and the population in most areas is reasonably stable. Several species of pelican, however, the white pelican have used considerably for sufficiently widespread in Europe but its range was limited to a fraction of what was a century ago and the only colonies are now widespread on the delta of the Danube. The reason for this decline is that the white pelicans are very vulnerable adispersione-any human intruders can easily cause an entire colony to abandon their nests and are also very likely predator. Another factor, possibly the most important is that the available habitat is fell enormous during the last century, the marshes and reed lakes and undisturbed with suitable supplies of fish have disappeared all too quickly. There are three groups of white swans. The Cygnus olor of the mute swan, which is found only in the Old World and has a bright orange bill, is the real bird of England and other countries in Northern Europe and once was served with medieval banquets. The smallest species is known in Europe as Bewick 'columbianus of Cygnus the swan s (after the naturalist and illustrator English) and in North America as the swan of whistle (because of the sound made by the wings during flight) . The largest Swan is the species known in America as the trumpeter swan and Europe such as the Whooper swan. As its name suggests, this species is often during the flight voice.
