Bats are not meant to be pets. Please release the bat where she found him, or contact the local wildlife rehabilition center.

It depends on what kind of bat it is. They really should be in the wild, they do much better there. Some bats eat insects, others nectar. You can look at bats on line and see if you can identify yours. You can also call your local rehab center and they can raise it until its old enough for release.

I agree. Go to a wild life center to care for the bat

Take the bat to a wild life center. It could be carrying parsites and whatnot. Besides, bats arent meant to be “pets”.

Bats are not pets…you are breaking several laws by having one…also bats can carry rabies…unless you have been vaccinated against it…you should be careful not to get bitten. Are you sure it is a baby??? Take it to a rehab or release it if it is an adult.

In many states, it is illegal to have a bat in captivity. Call a wildlife sanctuary to see where you can take it.
